Michelle Dulak, MSN RN, RNC-NIC joined the team as a simulation educator in 2022. She received her MSN in Nursing Education from Duke University and her BSN from Lynchburg College. Michelle is in progress of completing her Ph.D. in Nursing through Illinois State University. She came to us from Illinois State University (ISU) Mennonite College of Nursing where she served as a Simulation Specialist, a Nursing Instructional Assistant Professor and the Course Leader for Nursing Care of Children . Prior to coming to ISU, she worked at the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital as a certified Neonatal Intensive Care RN.

As a simulation educator, she works with VCU faculty and VCUHS staff to develop simulation and task training courses using simulation best practices. She enjoys the collaborative development of inter-professional simulations across the health system especially within the pediatric population.
